A few days ago, my husband woke up with a terrible sore throat and could not even speak. His entire body hurt so most likely he was coming down with something viral. I immediately made him a large pot of LCO’s immunity herbal bath and had him soak for an hour. Although his body was feeling better he had severe pain, puss and redness in his throat.
Thankfully I had all the key ingredients to make him an ultra shot of nature’s goodness.
But before giving him the shot I prepared a quarter cup of warm water and mixed in 2 teaspoons of Himalayan pink salt then gave to him so he could gargle.
Gargling with pure sea salt and or Himalayan pink salt helps clean the throat and reduce inflammation and infection. So when you have a sore throat it can never hurt to gargle 3 times a day with salt water.
Now for the ultra shot of natures goodness.
To start, I made a quarter cup of my immunity tea. Good herbs you can use are: lemon balm, olive leaf, chamomile, rosehips, rose petals or echinacea. Once the tea was ready I added the juice of one organic lemon, one crushed clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, 2 tablespoons of organic raw honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
My husband knows the drill so without prompting him, he grabbed the shot glass, made a weird face, gargled and swallowed.
We repeated the salt water gargles and ultra shots 2 more times that day and by night-time he was able to speak and had less pain in his throat and less congestion.

This is a great, quick and inexpensive remedy you can make and use for the entire family. The important thing is to start natural remedies immediately following the first symptom, this way you can assist the body in healing and stop an irritation or cold from getting much worse. You should also continue the gargles and shots for at least 5 more days to ensure all unwanted invaders are gone.
As usual, if you have a persistent sore throat with puss and extreme pain you should always go and have your doctor take a look as this can be a sign of a serious infection.
Blessings to you and yours this new year!
